Bob Ross Paint Brushes

In most episodes of The Joy of Painting, Ross explains that one of his favorite moments in painting is when he is cleaning his paint brush. More specifically, he had a fondness for his method of drying his paint brush, which had previously been soaked in solvent, by striking against the easel.

At the end of each episode, Ross was known for saying "So from here, I'd like to wish you happy painting, and God bless, my friend."​
