Varnishes For Acrylic Paint

Varnishes for paintings made with oil paint are available in matte, satin or glossy finishes. The application of the varnish is a step that is just as important as the creation of the painting.  Without the varnishing step, differences between bright and matte areas that are inherent to the execution of a painting, can significantly annoy the viewer. The varnish will bring uniformity to the gloss of the paint.
